Manitoba has conducted its first invitation round of the month. Manitoba issues invitations to apply (ITA) every month under its Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). The previous Manitoba PNP draw was held on May 23, 2024.

The Manitoba PNP latest draw held on June 6, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 254 candidates under all three Manitoba PNP streams, Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas.

Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

• Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 708

Of the 254 invitations issued in this draw, 35 were given to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is an immigration program designed to attract skilled workers, businesspeople, and international graduates to Manitoba, Canada.

It helps the province select and nominate individuals who meet its labour market and economic needs. Applicants must demonstrate strong ties to Manitoba, such as having a job offer, work experience in the province, or connections to the local community. Once nominated, individuals can apply for Canada PR.

Their profile will be assigned and ranked using the Manitoba PNP points calculator on factors including Age, Language Proficiency, Education, Work Experience, and Connections to Manitoba. The higher your score, the more your chances of receiving a provincial nomination.

The MPNP aims to boost Manitoba's economy by bringing in qualified and capable newcomers who can contribute to the province's growth and development.

In 2023, Manitoba PNP invited a total of 15,805 candidates across 30 EOI draws. Manitoba PNP conducted 3-4 draws almost every month in 2023. The same trend is expected to be carried on for 2024 as well.
