Ontario’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program's (OINP) French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream is a pathway designed to attract Francophone skilled workers to the province of Ontario, Canada. This stream aims to support Ontario's commitment to promoting French-Speaking immigration and enhancing the province's linguistic diversity.

Under this program, eligible French-speaking skilled workers with proficiency in English are nominated by the OINP for Canadian permanent residence. Candidates must have a valid job offer in Ontario, or have at least one year of full-time work experience in a skilled occupation within the past five years. They should also meet specific education, language ability, and adaptability requirements - as defined in the Ontario PNP points calculator.

The French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream provides an opportunity for French-Speaking immigrants to settle in Ontario and contribute to its economic growth while preserving the province's linguistic and cultural heritage.
