Check your eligibility for the Saskatchewan Express Entry Program with us!
The Saskatchewan Express Entry Program is one of the sub-divisions of the SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program).
(The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program is Saskatchewan’s provincial nominee program, that focuses entirely on meeting the province’s labor market needs while adding up value to the province’s population as well, by nominating the skilled immigration applicants for PR and work in the province.)
The Saskatchewan Express Entry stream is a fast-tracked process where the province is allowed to search for the right-skilled immigration candidates from the Federal Express Entry pool and nominate them for Permanent Residency in the province of Saskatchewan. This stream allows the province to meet its labor requirements while not having to conduct a separate program, rather choosing from the already existing pool of applicants.
The candidates in the Federal pool of applicants have to submit an Expression of Interest to the province of Saskatchewan, to receive the nomination for PR.
The candidates who get nominated by the Saskatchewan Express Entry program have to further submit an application for the Canadian Permanent Residency (Canadian PR).
Well, now it's high time to check your eligibility for the famous Saskatchewan Express Entry Program.
Read on!
●First, you have to create your Express Entry profile and get a profile number along with a job seeker validation code. The profile should be up-to-date.
●The next eligibility criteria are to have educational credentials of at least post-secondary level, and graduation, post-graduation, or diploma in a skill in demand in Canada.
●Your score should be at least 60 out of 100 in the PNP Saskatchewan assessment grid.
●You should have at least two years of work experience in a field that’s in demand in Canada. The jobs should be listed under NOC "A", "B", or "0" that is considered in-demand in the Province of Saskatchewan.
●You are also required to score the minimum band scores in the language tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, etc, required by your applied immigration program.
●At last, you are required to have a minimum amount of funds required for settlement, and to have a realistic settlement plan as determined by Immigration Saskatchewan.
The stream depends entirely on the Expression of Interest system, where the eligible immigration applicants, can create an account and register themselves using the SINP Online portal.
The applicants are then evaluated based on their scores and ranked against each other for the nomination. The highest-ranking candidates will be issued an invitation to apply during one of the SINP’s programs.
The candidate then has to submit an application to the province of Saskatchewan within 30-60 days (as mentioned).
The applicants will be notified once the province approves of their application, allowing them 30 days to accept the provincial nomination.
The acceptance of the nomination would add an automatic of 600 points to the candidate’s CRS point. Thus, increasing the chances of getting the ITA in the subsequent Express Entry draw.
