Alberta, July 3, 2025. The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), also referred to as the Alberta PNP, concluded a hectic June by inviting 291 applicants to apply for provincial nomination for permanent residence in Canada through 8 separate draws.

These draws show how Alberta is still working to draw in qualified workers who can fill local labour shortages, particularly in fields like hospitality, healthcare, agriculture, and law enforcement.

Alberta PNP Draws in June 2025

Invitations were sent to 291 candidates in the latest Alberta PNP draws, which took place in June. The minimum score of the invited candidates ranged between 51 and 73.

These recruitments show how Alberta PNP is still working to attract skilled workers who support the province's objectives for economic growth and public service.

Here’s where the Alberta PNP stands at the mid-year mark:

• Total 2025 Nomination Allocation: 4,875
• Nominations Issued So Far: 2,688
• Remaining Spaces: 2,187
• Applications in Process: 2,530

In other words, more than 55% of the quota for the year has already been used. It is anticipated that competition will continue to be fierce for the remainder of the year, with thousands of applications being reviewed.

Alberta Immigration: Important Streams

• 1. Alberta Express Entry Stream: The province can invite qualified workers straight from the federal Express Entry pool thanks to this stream. People who have worked in high-demand occupations or have connections to Alberta are frequently given preference.

• 2. Alberta Opportunity Stream: This stream is best suited for foreign workers with valid work permits who wish to move to Alberta for permanent residence. It was created for foreign workers who are already residing and working there.
