The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has conducted back-to-back invitation rounds this week!

The latest Ontario draws held on September 25 and September 26 saw invitations being issued to a total of 1,706 candidates under OINP’s Human Capital Priorities stream and Entrepreneur stream. This was the fifth Entrepreneur draw and the tenth Express Entry HCP draw conducted by Ontario in 2023.

Latest Ontario Draws: Key Highlights

Draw 1

On September 25, 2023, Ontario issued targeted notifications of interest to potential candidates who may qualify for OINP’s Entrepreneur stream.

• Date of NOIs issued: September 25, 2023
• Number of invitations issued: 10
• Score range: 136-163

Draw 2

On September 26, 2023, Ontario issued targeted notifications of interest to potential candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream.

• Date of NOIs issued: September 26, 2023
• Number of NOIs issued: 1,696
• CRS score range: 350-462
• Profiles created in IRCC Express Entry system: September 26, 2022 - September 26, 2023

Invited candidates required their work experience in one of the following NOCs, to be listed as the primary NOC in their Express Entry profile:

• NOC 31102 - General practitioners and family physicians
• NOC 31300 - Nursing coordinators and supervisors
• NOC 31301 - Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
• NOC 32101 - Licensed practical nurses
• NOC 33102 - Nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates

If you have been selected from the pool of candidates, you may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the OINP However, an ITA does not mean that you qualify for one of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program streams. Once you have received an ITA, you may apply online if you qualify under the stream identified in your ITA. You must submit your application within 14 calendar days of receiving the ITA.

Invitations issued in 2023

Ontario has so far issued:

• 58 invitations under the Entrepreneur stream, and
• 14,091 invitations under the Human Capital Priorities stream.
