How does the BC PNP work?

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) plays a pivotal role in helping support & sustain the province’s economy.

There are two streams that are currently being managed by the BC PNP:

  • British Columbia Skills Immigration
  • British Columbia Entrepreneur Immigration

Candidates are ranked & evaluated based on the points achieved under the BC PNP points calculator. Points are assigned based on factors such as Age, Education, Work Experience, Language Proficiency, Adaptability, and Spousal Sponsorship.

Candidates with the highest scores are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the BC PNP.
