IRCC extends invitations to PNP candidates in latest Express Entry draw

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada -IRCC has issued more PNP invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry Program. This draw marks the fifth Express Entry round of June, reflecting IRCC’s continued focus on program-specific and category-based selection to address targeted labour market needs.

Express Entry Latest Draw: Result

The Express Entry latest draw was held on June 23, 2025 and a total of 503 candidates were invited to apply under the PNP candidates with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 742 or above.

Summary of Express Entry draws in 2025

As of now, IRCC has issued a total of 38,845 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system in 2025.

This Express Entry draw follows as Canadian Experience Class draw on June 12 (3,000 ITAs, CRS 529) and another PNP draw on June 10 (125 ITAs, CRS 784). We hope to see more rounds of invitations in the remainder for next month.

Draws this year have heavily favored PNP candidates, followed by selections under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), French-language proficiency, and priority occupation categories such as healthcare, social services, and education.

Express Entry Draw Types

• General rounds of invitations: In this draw types invite top-ranking candidates across all Express Entry programs.

• Program specific rounds of invitations: In this draw types invite top ranking candidates who are eligible for a specific Express Entry such as the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Example, if IRCC holding a round specifically for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), we would invite candidates who are eligible for the Canadian Experience Class only.

• Category-based rounds of invitations: In this draw types invite candidates who meet labour market priorities set by the Immigration Minister, such as French-speaking applicants or those in high-demand sectors.

• Candidates with a provincial or territorial nomination: Candidates with a provincial or territorial nomination continue to be a top priority in both general and PNP-specific rounds.
