Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued more invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system. Canada held its second Express Entry draw in June. They issued 500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for jobs in Healthcare and Social Services.
This category-based selection aligns with Canada's efforts to address labor shortages in critical sectors. The draw, known as Express Entry Latest Draw #349, needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 504. This shows how competitive the healthcare category is right now.
The latest Express Entry draw held on June 4, 2025, issued 500 ITAs to candidates in healthcare and social services occupations. Minimum CRS score required was 504.
Draw Type: Healthcare and social services occupations
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off will depend on when they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
You might get invitations to apply for three programs. These are the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. This draw comes right after the PNP draw for foreign professionals on June 2, 2025. It shows IRCC's focused approach to immigration in 2025.
Candidates who received an ITA now have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residency. IRCC continues to prioritize efficient processing, aiming to finalize 80% of Express Entry applications within six months.
