BC PNP Skills Immigration Draws

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Skills Immigration Draws are part of a process where British Columbia invites skilled workers to apply for permanent residency in the province. These draws focus on selecting people with the skills and qualifications needed to fill labour market gaps in BC.

The program is designed for individuals with experience in jobs like healthcare, technology, and other in-demand occupations. There are different categories under the Skills Immigration stream, such as Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled.

Periodically, BC holds draws where candidates with high scores in the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) aka BC PNP Points Calculator - are invited to apply. Scores are based on factors like work experience, education, and language skills. Candidates with higher scores have a better chance of being invited.

The Skills Immigration draws help meet the labour needs of BC by attracting qualified workers from around the world. Successful applicants can then apply for permanent residency in Canada, which allows them to live and work in BC long-term. These draws are an important part of the immigration process, helping to boost BC's economy by addressing labour shortages.
