The January 12th EOI draw #165 saw LAAs being issued to candidates under three MPNP streams:

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba – 260 LAAs with a minimum score of 734.
  • International Education Stream – 42 LAAs.
  • Skilled Worker Overseas - 20 LAAs with a minimum score of 713.

Out of the total 322 Letters of Advice issued in the latest Manitoba PNP draw – 27 LAAs were issued to candidates showcasing a valid Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code.

Here are the details of this EOI draw:

Here are the key takeaways from the January 12th EOI draw:

  • Expression of Interest (EOI) candidates from the Skilled Worker Overseas stream were only considered if they were directly invited by Manitoba’s provincial government under a Strategic Recruitment initiative or, had an IRCC Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code.
  • Candidates whose Express Entry profile was valid at the time of application assessment – were only eligible to receive a nomination under the MPNP.
  • Candidates that have surpassed the minimum score requirement in the Manitoba points calculator, but are yet to receive an LAA, maybe because
  • (A). They have indicated that they have taken an authorized language proficiency test in English/French – but have not provided a valid “Test Number” or
  • (B). They have indicated that they have received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) under a Strategic Initiative – but did not provide a valid “Invitation Number”.
  • Also, candidates that have been invited to this draw were working under a regulated in-demand occupation in Manitoba and are fully licensed to work in the province.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issues ITAs to eligible candidates on a bi-weekly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the Manitoba PNP next draw – are determined by the needs of the MPNP application inventory.
