The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the first invitation round conducted by the province in May. The Manitoba PNP, or MPNP, conducts regular draws under its Expression of Interest (EOI) system to invite candidates from the EOI pool to submit a complete application to the MPNP.
If you’ve been invited to this latest Manitoba PNP draw, you will have 60 days to submit this application to the MPNP. Your invitation or Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) will not be valid if this timeframe passes.
The latest Manitoba PNP draw was held on May 01, 2025. A total of 26 candidates from the Skilled Worker Overseas stream were invited to apply for permanent residence. Of the 26 invitations issued in this draw, 7 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Managed under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), the Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO) stream is designed for skilled workers who want to move to Manitoba from outside Canada. This stream selects candidates who have strong ties to Manitoba and the skills needed in the local job market.
To be eligible, applicants must show a connection to Manitoba through one of the following:
This connection helps show that the applicant is likely to settle in Manitoba successfully.
Applicants must also score at least 60 points out of 100 on the MPNP points grid, aka the Manitoba PNP points calculator. Points are given based on factors like age, language skills (English or French), work experience, education, and connection to Manitoba.
It’s important to note that having a connection to Manitoba does not guarantee a nomination. The program looks for people who can adapt easily and contribute to the economy of the province. Also, applicants must have enough money to support themselves and their families after arriving in Manitoba. If selected, the candidate receives a provincial nomination, which helps in applying for Canadian permanent residency through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
