The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the first invitation round conducted by the province in September. The previous Manitoba PNP draw was held on August 30, 2024. 

If you have been invited in this Manitoba PNP latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit the PR application along with the supporting documents. If this timeframe passes, your invitation will no longer be valid.

The Manitoba PNP latest draw was held on September 12, 2024. Invitations were issued to a total of 206 candidates from MPNP’s Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream.

Occupation-Specific and Completed Post-Secondary Study in Manitoba

Profiles declaring current employment in the following occupations and that they or their spouse have completed post-secondary education in Manitoba were considered

• Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 206

The following National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 unit groups were considered in this draw:

• 63200 - Cooks
• 62200 - Chefs

Of the 206 invitations issued in this draw, 21 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Manitoba PNP Draws

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) regularly invites candidates who meet the province’s economic and labour market needs to apply for provincial nomination. These draws focus on three key streams:

• Skilled Workers in Manitoba: This stream targets individuals who are already working in Manitoba or have established strong connections to the province. It prioritizes those with job offers or work experience in occupations that are in demand locally.

• Skilled Workers Overseas: This stream is for skilled workers from outside of Canada who have demonstrated strong ties to Manitoba. It includes candidates with family or friends in the province, previous work or education in Manitoba, or invitations received through the MPNP’s strategic recruitment initiatives.

• International Education Stream: This stream focuses on international graduates who have completed their post-secondary education in Manitoba and have relevant skills or job offers from local employers.

During each draw, the MPNP selects candidates from these streams based on their scores from the Expression of Interest (EOI) system. The highest-ranking candidates are issued a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA), inviting them to apply for a provincial nomination. Once nominated, candidates can apply for Canadian permanent residency through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The frequency and number of invitations issued in these draws can vary depending on Manitoba’s labour market needs and priorities.
