The Prince Edward Island Office of Immigration has conducted a new draw. This was the first Prince Edward Island PNP draw conducted in June.

The Prince Edward Island PNP immigration pathways depend on federal immigration allocations, application volumes, and provincial labour market needs. The PEI Office of Immigration is currently selecting and prioritising skilled workers in in-demand sectors Healthcare, Trades, Childcare, and other key industries facing labour shortages.

PEI PNP Latest Draw - Results

The PEI PNP latest draw held on June 24, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 75 candidates from the Labour & Express Entry stream.

If you are invited to apply in this PEI PNP latest draw, you will receive an email notification that will include your file number and instructions for submission of your file. If you are invited you must complete the application forms. Your employer must also complete the employer forms.

If you did not receive an invitation in this draw, your profile will remain active in the pool of candidates. Do not withdraw your application. You may be invited in the next PEI PNP draw.

PEI PNP Draws - Selection Criteria

In a PEI PNP draw, candidates are ranked and selected based on the following selection attributes:

• Language: English or French;
• Education: level and field of education and where completed;
• Skill and work experience level;
• Strategic priorities: attributes that would address immediate labour market needs in PEI;
• Other factors relevant to employment prospects: including but not limited to having a job offer in PEI and/or previous Canadian work experience.

Historical and Forecasted Immigration Targets

In 2023, Prince Edward Island PNP issued 2,422 invitations across 22 draws. According to the PEI PNP 2024 draw schedule, we can expect 16 draws this year.

To immigrate through the Prince Edward Island PNP, candidates must first create an EOI profile. The EOI profile will include details of the selection factors mentioned above. Once they submit their profile, they will be placed in the EOI pool - along with other candidates. Here, they will be invited based on the information provided in the profile and the minimum score in PEI’s point grid.
