PEI PNP latest draw invites from 66 Labour Express Entry Stream

The Prince Edward Island Office of Immigration has conducted a new draw under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). This was the first invitation round conducted by PEI in April.

The PEI PNP latest draw was held on April 04, 2024. A total of 66 candidates under the Labour & Express Entry stream with work experience in in-demand occupations including Healthcare and Manufacturing were invited in this draw.

Invitations were issued to individuals working in the Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Early Childhood Education sectors.

No Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream invitations were issued.

If you are invited to apply in this draw, you will receive an email notification that will include your file number and instructions for submission of your file. If you are invited you must complete the application forms. Your employer must also complete the employer forms.

If you did not receive an invitation in this draw, your profile will remain active in the pool of candidates. Do not withdraw your application. You may be invited in the next PEI PNP draw.

The Prince Edward Island PNP issues ITAs to eligible candidates on a bi-weekly basis. The frequency, size, and date of the next draw - are determined by the needs of the PEI Office of Immigration application inventory and the latest PEI PNP draw schedule.

The next PEI PNP draw is expected to be conducted on April 18, 2024.

PEI PNP Express Entry Stream

Unlike most other Express Entry-aligned Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams, the Express Entry stream of Prince Edward Island PNP (PEI PNP) does not require you to have a job offer from a PEI employer. To be eligible for nomination through PEI Express Entry, you must:

Meet the requirements of at least one of the federal economic immigration programs the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), or the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Create a Federal Express Entry Profile and be placed in the pool of candidates.

If you meet the eligibility criteria listed above, you must create a profile in the PEI’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system. Your profile will remain active for six months. Make sure that the information provided in your EOI is accurate and verifiable. The PEI EOI selection process is based on one or more of the following attributes:

• Language: English or French
• Education: level and field of education and where completed
• Skill and work experience level
• Strategic priorities: attributes that would address immediate labour market needs in PEI
• Other factors relevant to employment prospects: including but not limited to having a job offer in PEI and/or previous Canadian work experience.

If you’re invited to apply in a PEI PNP draw, you must submit a complete application to apply for Canada PR to the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) - along with a non-refundable processing fee of CAN$ 300. There is no fee to create an EOI profile.
