Applying for permanent residency

If you have been invited in this draw, you will receive a notification in your Arrima message centre - with the information needed to submit an application for permanent residence.

The information you provide in your initial Expression of Interest (EOI) will be copied to your application to apply for Canada PR visa. You will need to add certain information to make sure that the information provided is accurate.

After submitting your application, you will receive a personalized list of documents you need to provide - to support your application. As of the date you receive your invitation, you will have 60 days to submit your application, along with the documents, and pay the processing fees. If this timeframe passes, your invitation will be no longer valid.

Talk to an Expert

If you did not receive an invitation in this draw, your profile will remain active in the pool for 12 months. Do not withdraw your EOI, you may be invited in the next Quebec Immigration draw.

Quebec Immigration draws are held twice every month - with some exceptions. The number of candidates, minimum score, and other invitation requirements are not published beforehand. Information on the Quebec Immigration latest draw is posted one week later.

Regular Skilled Worker Program Eligibility

Profiles under Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) are evaluated based on the selection grid criteria used by the MIFI to assess their eligibility for the RSWP. This includes factors such as

  • Age
  • Language Proficiency in French and/or English
  • Education
  • Work Experience
  • And other criteria that are specific to the Quebec RSWP.

Candidates with the highest scores in the Quebec Points Calculator are generally selected in a draw. At current processing times, 80% of applications under the Quebec Immigration are processed within 8 to 12 months.
