Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) has conducted a new draw for candidates waiting for a nomination in the pool. This was the second invitation round conducted by Quebec in March.
The Quebec Immigration latest draw held on March 21, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 1,357 candidates under the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP). Invited candidates required a minimum score equal to or greater than 596 points to be eligible.
Invitations were issued to candidates that met the following criteria:
The date and time of extraction from the Arrima bank was March 18, 2024, at 6:25 a.m.
If you have been invited in this draw, you will receive a notification in your Arrima message centre - with the information needed to submit an application for permanent residence.
The information you provide in your initial Expression of Interest (EOI) will be copied to your application to apply for Canada PR visa. You will need to add certain information to make sure that the information provided is accurate.
After submitting your application, you will receive a personalized list of documents you need to provide - to support your application. As of the date you receive your invitation, you will have 60 days to submit your application, along with the documents, and pay the processing fees. If this timeframe passes, your invitation will be no longer valid.
If you did not receive an invitation in this draw, your profile will remain active in the pool for 12 months. Do not withdraw your EOI, you may be invited in the next Quebec Immigration draw.
Quebec Immigration draws are held twice every month - with some exceptions. The number of candidates, minimum score, and other invitation requirements are not published beforehand. Information on the Quebec Immigration latest draw is posted one week later.
Profiles under Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) are evaluated based on the selection grid criteria used by the MIFI to assess their eligibility for the RSWP. This includes factors such as
Candidates with the highest scores in the Quebec Points Calculator are generally selected in a draw. At current processing times, 80% of applications under the Quebec Immigration are processed within 8 to 12 months.
