Quebec latest draw invites 1,281 candidates to apply for Permanent Residence

Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) has conducted a new draw. This was the first invitation round conducted by the department in June. The previous Quebec draw was held on May 30, 2024. 

The Quebec latest draw was held on June 06, 2024. A total of 1,281 candidates from Quebec’s Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) were invited. The date and time of extraction from the Arrima bank was June 3, 2024, at 6:25 a.m.

Quebec Latest Draw - Results

These invitations were invitation addressed to the persons meeting the following criteria:

  • They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français or its equivalent.
  • They had a score equal to or greater than 587 points.

These invitations were also addressed to people meeting the following criteria:

  • They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français or its equivalent.
  • They had a valid job offer outside the territory of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.

If you are invited, you will receive a communication in your Arrima message centre with the information needed to access the form and submit a permanent selection application.

This was the 10th RSWP draw conducted by Quebec in 2024. In 2023, Quebec conducted 16 RSWP draws that invited a total of 17,408 candidates. The latest draw is a continuation of Quebec issuing high invites with low scores.

Quebec RSWP Eligibility

Quebec’s Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) is for those who wish to immigrate to Quebec permanently to work. For this program, you must declare your interest in immigrating to Quebec to work. In order to submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Arrima portal, you must meet the eligibility criteria of Quebec’s RSWP points grid.

Points are assigned based on factors including:

  • Age
  • Language Proficiency
  • Education
  • Work Experience
  • Valid Job Offer
  • Connection to Quebec
  • Accompanying Spouse/Children

If your profile matches the eligibility criteria needed in Quebec - you will receive an invitation to submit a complete application for permanent residence. Candidates who have the highest scores in the Quebec points calculator are selected in the subsequent Quebec draw.
