What are CEFR Levels?

For instance- An applicant who got 7-8 bands in IELTS is considered a proficient user in language tests with a C1 level in CEFR. The highest level in the English language test is C2 and can be attained by scoring 8.5 or 9 in the IELTS exam. What are CEFR Levels?

IELTS Score	Proficiency Term	CEFR Level
8.5 - 9.0	100 percent competency in English language and considered as an expert user	C2
7.0 – 7.5 – 8.0	This is referred to as excellent to good user and this score is usually perfect the eligibility requirement of various visas	C1
5.0 – 5.5 – 6.0 - 6.5	As per IELTS, 5.0 – 5.5 is a modest user and 6.0 – 6.5 is a competent user but it is CEFR level is B2.	B2
4.0 – 4.5	The candidate with this band score is considered a limited user.	B!
3.0	This is an extremely limited user case	A2
2.0	This is an intermittent user of English language test	A1
