Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has conducted its second Express Entry draw of May, issuing 500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under the Healthcare and Social Services Occupations category.
This category-based selection aligns with Canada's efforts to address labor shortages in critical sectors. The draw, officially recorded as Express Entry Draw #345, required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 510, reflecting the ongoing competitiveness of the healthcare category.

Invitations may apply to candidates eligible under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). This draw closely follows the historic first-ever category-based draw for Education Professionals, held on May 1, 2025, reinforcing IRCC's targeted approach to immigration in 2025.
Candidates who received an ITA now have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residency. IRCC continues to prioritize efficient processing, aiming to finalize 80% of Express Entry applications within six months.
