Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted its first invitation round in October. This draw marks another significant step by Ontario in attracting international graduates to contribute to the province’s diverse and thriving labor market.

The Ontario PNP latest draw held on October 30, 2023, saw invitations being issued to 1,117 candidates under the Masters Graduate Stream and PhD Graduate Stream. Invited international graduates required a minimum score of 42 and above to be eligible.

Latest OINP Draw: Key Highlights

The OINP uses an Expression of Interest (EOI) system to select individuals who may meet the criteria for one of the immigration streams. If the OINP identifies you from the candidate pool, you will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)  in your OINP e‑Filing Portal account.

Invitations are issued to eligible candidates on a weekly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the next OINP draw are determined by Ontario's application inventory needs at the time of the invitation round.

After you receive an invitation to apply, you may apply online if you qualify under the stream identified in your invitation to apply. You must submit your application within 14 calendar days of receiving the invitation to apply.

So far in 2023, Ontario has issued:

• 5,734 invitations under the Masters Graduate Stream, and
• 486 invitations under the PhD Graduate Stream.
